SYS.08 / ABOUT

PERSON / PRACTICE / DIRECTION

EUGENE EYAMBE NDEME / SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Curious about how technology is formed.

I became interested in engineering because I kept wondering how technology is formed, how it operates, and what it could become. I wanted to understand those systems and become part of building them as their potential grows.

I enjoy the thinking around a build as much as implementation—analyzing systems, shaping architecture, planning the path, documenting decisions, and turning that clarity into working software.

SYS.03 / ENGINEERING CAPABILITIES

CAPABILITY BEFORE TOOL

An engineering system, not a skill wall.

The work moves from understanding a system to choosing the technologies that serve it.

01 / FOUNDATION

System Engineering

Question, model, and structure the system before implementation decisions become expensive.

SYS.04 / ENGINEERING PROCESS

QUESTION → DELIVER

Code enters after the system makes sense.

The process adapts to the product. It creates the understanding and documentation that a specific system requires—then turns that clarity into a build.

  1. 01

    START / CONTEXT

    Question

Clarify the problem, expected outcome, users, stakeholders, constraints, context, and expectations.

  2. 02

    DOMAIN / EVIDENCE

    Research

Study the problem domain, users, existing systems, comparable solutions, technical possibilities, and constraints.

  3. 03

    SYSTEM / BOUNDARIES

    Analyze

Resolve requirements, workflows, actors, entities, system boundaries, risks, and feasibility.

  4. 04

    DECISIONS / ARTIFACTS

    Plan & Document

Create the documentation the system requires—such as requirements, architecture, use cases, UML, ER diagrams, workflows, schema planning, or an implementation plan.

  5. 05

    IMPLEMENT / INTEGRATE

    Build

Implement the frontend, backend, database, mobile application, or integrations the product calls for.

  6. 06

    TEST / REFINE

    Validate & Deliver

Test assumptions and behavior, validate the result, iterate where needed, refine, deliver, and hand off clearly.
